So proud of the 8th graders. They started the process of making their moccasins in January and for most of them it’s their first time beading. They started with tracing their feet, to making their own patterns, to creating their own design, and now a lot are well on their way to having them done before graduation.

8th grade students are currently working on a PBL project called "Broken Laws". Students will present proposed laws for their peers to review and give a presentation on their proposed law or amendment, the issues it addresses, and reasons why this change is important. To help with their project research, SWO Criminal Investigator Woodrow Hawkins visited class today and answered some great questions regarding tribal and federal law.
