Dear TZ Tiwahe,

We want to make you aware that we have recently seen an uptick in COVID-19
and influenza cases in our school community. We are taking precautions and
doing extra cleaning/sanitizing in known affected areas.

To help keep everyone healthy and reduce the spread of illness, we kindly
remind you to stay home if you are feeling unwell. Taking this precaution helps
protect your colleagues/friends and allows you the time you need to recover.
Common symptoms of COVID-19 and influenza may include:

• Fever or chills
• Cough
• Sore throat
• Runny or stuffy nose
• Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
• Fatigue
• Headache
• Muscle or body aches
• Nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea

If you or your children are experiencing any of these symptoms, please get tested and stay home
until better. If symptoms worsen or persist, consider seeking guidance from a
healthcare provider.

Remember frequent handwashing is best for mitigating risk of transmission.

Lil Wambdi Cheer Camp Schedule

Due to the rescheduled Jr High basketball game today at 4:00, we will reschedule the 8th grade parent meeting so all parents will be available to attend. The regular parent meeting is still scheduled for today at 4:00 pm in the old library. We will update you when the new 8th grade parent meeting is scheduled. Wopida.

I am writing to invite you to attend an upcoming Parent Committee meeting focused specifically on 8th grade graduation planning and funding. Meeting Details: Date: February 9 Time: 4:00 PM Location: Old Library/ WLL/ALC Classroom” At this time, we want to acknowledge that there has been a disruption in the planning process due to the absence of an 8th grade advisor. Because of this, some graduation planning items have been delayed, and your involvement and input are especially important as we move forward together. This meeting will provide an opportunity to: • Discuss plans and expectations for the 8th grade graduation • Review funding needs and ideas • Collaborate as parents to ensure our students have a meaningful and well-organized celebration Your voice, ideas, and support are valuable, and we strongly encourage at least one parent or guardian from each family to attend if possible. Families are invited to join us for Parent-Teacher Conferences tonight, February 5, from 1:45–7:45 PM at Tiospa Zina Tribal School.

🍽️ Light supper will be served from 4:30–7:00 PM, including mashed potatoes, hamburger gravy, a dinner roll, and fruit cups. Families are welcome to eat during this time.
